Omeleigh pty ltd is a family owned and operated business. Having started in the commercial rabbit meat industry, they found that rabbit meat had a limited market. So with this in mind they set about to create new ways that rabbit meat could be marketed. What they came up with they hope will change the way that people veiw rabbit meat .

Rabbit which used to be a main staple in peoples diets is considered by the younger generation as something that their grandparents ate during depression era.What a lot of people don't realise is that rabbits specifically grown for meat are a lot different to the wild rabbits that you trap out on the farm.

In todays society of health consciousness, rabbit is coming back as the meat of the future. Low in cholestrol and fat, rabbit has no added hormones making it the perfect choice for everyone.
